Sundari loves to dress up and she was missing the banter at her parlour in Bengalooru...She decided she will soon change that..She logged onto sulekha.com and put a search for Indian parlors...She tried googling too- Indian parlors in the bay area gave her plenty of results and soo many yelp.com feedback that she thought finding a good desi one will be quite a challenge considering the number of chinese parlors around..Especially one's with top ratings.
Sundari did her own personal research - called most of her desi friends- each one had a personal favourite- So she used google maps to find the ones which were closest to her and she didnt find anything worth remebering. ಕೊನೆಗೆ Sundari took an appointment in her neighbourhood foster city and she caught a bus to reach there. The map showed an obviously easy route ಸಕತ್ straight fwd...ನಮ್ಮ ಹುಡಿಗಿಗೆ ಯಾವ್ದು straight fwd ಅಲ್ವಲ್ಲ ..so she left early got off at a stop b4 the destined stop and went to a mall she was familiar with...this one had plenty of nice chinese restaurants and parlors - ಇಲ್ಲಿ saloon anbeku..tumba varieties bere - hairge bere, nailsge bere experts..she went 2 the biggest one and asked for an appointment - they said they will take her without one - ಈಗ recession inda ppl want 2 get most of thr beauty therapies at home..nam sundarige hosdu - she wants to still indulge..so she got her first eyebrow wax!!!
Eyebrow threading maadodu ರೂಢಿ India dalli aadre illi quick and easy wax madthare...And she looked bful and felt that the work done was ossom too :D The smell ಆಫ್ the wax was lingering and this adventure too was a funny silly one like many that sundari has...

ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಎದವ್ ಬಿದ್ರೆ ಚಾಟ್,ಮಸಾಲ ದೋಸೆ ಅಂಗಡಿಗಳು :-) ನಮ್ಮ ಸುಂದರಿ ಬಂದು ವಾರಾನು ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದ್ರು Sunnyvalege ಹೋಗೋ ಆತ್ರ. ಫೋನ್ ಬೇರೆ iಲ್ಲ, ಆದರು ಕ್ಯಾಲ್ತ್ರೈನ್ ಇದ್ಯೆಲ್ಲ. ಹೊರಟಳು Sunnyvale.
Sundari called all her friends, gave them the train timings and told them she would call them when she reached sunnyvale.
She bought the tickets easily - read the route map from San Jose to San Francisco. Checked the right direction and zone- was all set...

Please go to this link: http://passport.gov.in/cpv/TatkalScheme.htm Read through the entire sheet of details. Get the documents marked for the two mandatory annexes- Annexure F and Annexure I. Annexure F has to be provided by a senior Govt official or as indicated as alternatives in the official site. Please take an appointment with the concerned official, usually late afternoon or end of day hours are suitable for them, so try to fix your appointment at their convenience.
When you meet them, verify on the format of the annexure and please ensure that you get your photograph attested and get a copy of their identity card with the Govt seal.
The format is on the following link- http://passport.gov.in/cpv/ANNEXUREF_vc_tatkaal.htm Annexure I has to be attested by a notary before you take it to the concerned Govt official.Please carry support documents- your birth certificate, your id card etc that you have to provide at the passport office when you go to meet the notary as they will verify and will want to look at the same.
A non judicial paper is not freely available, its available only in the city courts and in SBM. You will have to pay him for the same. These papers are available only until 1.00 PM.Sample annexure I: http://passport.gov.in/cpv/ANNEXUREI_std.htm it has to be printed on non judicial paper attested by a notary After you get both your Annexure I and F in place, book an online appointment with the passport office- you will have to carry a printout of your appointment and it will only be valid in the first half of the day.
Go to link http://rpobangalore.gov.in/frm_online_reg_public.asp and book an appointment. Make sure you have your address proof -if its a telephone bill you have to prove you were residing there and should carry last year and this year's bills to prove your duration of a year.
All in all you will get the date of passport as soon as your documents are verified during your appointment. The passport office is process centric and is very efficient. Go well prepared and it will move like a breeze.
